I've been a vegetarian since the age of twelve. In that time I've been berated and 'corrected' by many a meat eater. One of the myths prevalently circulated in society is that a vegan diet contains insufficient or inferior protein. In actuality, there are a wide variety of high protein plant based sources. In fact, there are more plant based high protein sources than meat based high protein sources. One plant based source is higher in protein than any other food. Not only that but plant based protein sources contain absolutely no cholesterol.
